This week I did Archivist and Political Scientist. Thes jobs have some in common but not a whole lot. Like these two have Top Industry is Government. Their training is they need some on the job training. they both have to be investigative and really thats about it with these two.

Blog for 11/2/13

This week we looked at careers that might be out of our colors comfort zones. The reason I think he made us do this is so we could make corrections to ourselves to make ourselves more colorful people. Also to see what jobs woule be out of our comfort zones. Like for me I am a green and I'm not a good people person i studied a caterer and honestly I don't want to be it too many people to deal with.

Arts Blog

Last week we did careers in the Arts cluster. I did Art Therapists and Museum Techs and Conservators. Art Therapists conduct art therapoy sessions. They make $43,000 in the U.S. and $40,000 in Hawaii. The projected growth is 10-19% and all you need is a H.S. degree. Work Values are Relationships, Achievement, and Independent. Next thing i did was Museum Techs and Conservators. They restore, maintain, or prep objects in museum collections. Projected growth is 3-9%. You have to be Realitic and Artistic. Work values is you have to have Achiecement, Relationships, and Indepentence. They make $38,000 in the U.S. and $35,000 in Hawaii.

True colors V2

Well yesterday I found out that I was green I had guessed that from the begining. Green means that I am smart, I work best alone, I am easily bored if the subject doent intrest me, and it is hard for me to set piroities because so many thing intrest me at school at least.With friends I usally keep to myself and my own thoughts, I usally dont show a whole lot of emoition. And in my family I seem like a loner because I keep to myself and I like my privete time, and I find family activities boring. This really is my color I am about all of these things. My secondary color is orange. Orange also I think is me because I am full of energy but my green i think holds me back which mellows me out.

I think Mrs Phegely is a orange she is fun and always exciting. I think Mr Dundas I think is a green he laid back, sarcatic and smart. I think Mrs Mcfatridge is a blue she is easy going adn I think she kind of cares about us. I think Mr Boyars is a gold he always has to have stuff on time and they have to be perfect. I think Bo is a orange he is very intresting. I think Josh is a Gold he has to have everything perfect and in on time. I think Jake is a green he is smart and uses logic most of the time. I think Corey is nlue he is laid back and he cares about his friends.

This weekin career exploration we did Buisness Management and Adminisration and I did the two careers Chief Executives and Treasurers and Controlers. The job decription for Chief excutives is to detrmin and formulate policy for companies or buisnesses. The job decription for Treasurers and Controlers si to direct finicinal activities and determin what money goes where. The skills needed for Chief Excutives is Economics , Accounting,Math, Speaking, Coordination, Resourcses, and Public Safey. The skills for Treasurs and Controlers are Accounting, Complex Problem Solving,Speaking, Math Resourcses, and Economics. The Education required for Chief excutives is you dont have to have a degree and for a treasurer is a Batchlors Degree.

RESONSE 10/10/13

In carrer explore we have been looking at different carrers. Well yesterday we took a test to figure out what our learning styles. My learning style is a visual learning. What my style means to me is i would rather read a book or, watch a movie than listen to music or something like that. It inpacts my learning by, what ever i see i usally remeber if its important but if its stuff i dont care about or its not important than i usally forget it instantally. It usallly helps if i can see the stuff im working on the better my awnswer and the better I do.

My Learning Styles

I am a visual learner. I like when informaton is presented to me on paper on the board or on a screen. I would rather Read a book a than listen to music. I would rather watch a movie than listen to stuff. What this mean is i like to look at stuff and its easier to learn if im looking at something than listening to someone lecturing.

This week we did human services and i did cook and a food service manager. These jobs are very simmlar in the way that they both work with food. These two jobs require very little education both of them require the equivelent or less than a high school deploma. They also make around the same amount. They also both work with or around food hopefully good food. It doesnt matter to me I dont want to do this i love making food but i would rather be an AeroSpace Engineer and fly and build planes

STEM response

This week we did the STEM cluster i did Ship Engineer and Aerospace Engineer. They were in the same cluster because they both are engineers and STEM means science, technology, engineering, and math and well they both fit under the enngineering class. These two jobs use math and science mainly in these jobs they also make about the same money and take about the same schooling.

I think ther reason STEM is named STEM is because Science, Technology, Engineering & Math the subjects has something to do with all the jobs in the STEM acadamy. The reason the others dont have the acadamy named after a cluster is because those cluster have something to do with the acadamy but it doesnt have everything to do with the acadamy.

What I am learning in this class is that I really like engineers but I have known that for a while. But the reason i like them is because i like what they do and they make alot of money. But my favorite careers I have studied so far is a bio chemicle engineer and ag engineer but they dont make the same even though they are both engineers one makes $100,000 and $70,000 and also and almost every job I have reserched they have to at least have a batchelors degeree. They also do lot of the same thing and have to know alot of the same stuff.

Introduction

This is my blog I'm doing this for the class Carrer Explorer. I guess in this blog i will post random stuff like facebook. My teacher said, "This is where we discuss our careers that we didnt get to reserch." So im guseeing that will be what most of my blogging will be about. But Im pretty sure I know what I want to do.
